2006 Summer Trip-Prologue

In our last installment of “Greenbaums on the Move”, we left our motorhome in Las Vegas and flew home for two months. The main rationale for leaving the coach was saving time since we planned a summer trip for the Pacific Northwest, we would save the weeks otherwise spent driving twice cross country. Gas was $2.60 in Nevada. Now that it’s up to $3.00, we saved even more than time (at least in the short term ;-).

We fly to Florida on June 15^th to visit Scott, Tara, Garrett & Wyatt. After a five day visit, we fly to Vegas to get the motorhome and head off on our next adventure focused on National Parks with a trip to Vancouver Island in British Columbia to see Orcas (Killer Whales).  We plan to cover 8,900 miles and visit 21 National Parks and Monuments.

Life is still very good. Stay tuned as we explore some national treasures like Yellowstone and Yosemite and some hidden gems like Deadhorse State Park and Capitol Reef National Park.
