Prologue
It is time to hit the road again. This will be a relatively short trip to see the portions of Atlantic Canada we missed last summer. We will begin at the Downeast Birding Festival in Eastport Maine for Memorial Day weekend. Next we will visit Prince Edward Island and the Digby area of southern Nova Scotia. After that we will head north along the coast of New Brunswick, stopping at Kouchibouguac national Park. Then it will be on to the Gaspe Penninsula for birding at Bonaventure Island and hiking at Forillon National Park at the tip of the Gaspe. We will then had down the shore of the St. Lawrence River, visiting a couple of Provincial Parks before the urban part of our trip. We will spend a few days each in Quebec City and Montreal. As we head towards home, we will stop to visit Jamie in Burlington Vermont then spend a few days at another motorhome rally, this one in Springfield, MA. All of that brings us home on July 17th, in time for the Folk Festival in Lowell.
